THE ORGANIZATION
The Miss South Sudan Organization is a non-profit organization that was found to promote education and seek global advancement for the Southern Sudanese women. Formed in February 2006, it was an idea to introduce Southern Sudanese women to the world and the opportunity to impact the lives of many. It is a thoughful process to teach and instill among all southern Sudanese, the value of unity among Southern Sudanese.

The Organization seeks to:
· To emphasize education by providing scholarship opportunities and personal development.
· To provide personal and professional opportunities for Southern Sudanese women and promote their voice in culture, politic and community.
· To provide opportunities to develop interview and communication skill, enhance performance capability, encourage healthy life style, and built self esteem and self confidence through competition.
· To support women’s participation in regional, national and global community service, thus effecting change in places that need it.
· To promote equality by challenging imbalance of power base on gender and other orientation, and age, within and beyond
· To empower Southern Sudanese women to provide resources, services, programs, and research that address a diverse range of needs, interests, and concerns in
· To recognize and celebrate the multiple realities of Southern Sudanese women’s lives.
· To encourage Southern Sudanese young ladies to pursuit their dreams in fashion and modeling. Gain the competitive edge to succeed later in whatever field they may choose from modeling to business.
