Phoenix Youth at Risk is a non-profit organization that transforms the lives of at risk youth by providing a foundation of mentoring and curriculum that helps them build positive, goal-directed futures. I was invited to the golf outing fundraiser to speak at the lunchBreast Cancer Walk to Empower on Mothers Day 2009Breast Cancer Network of Strength’s third annual Walk to empower was held on Mother’s day. This was a great event. I passed bottle water to the walkers at their second miles stops in the 91 degree weather. Seeing all the breast cancer survivors and having the opportunity to talk to some of them at the walk was a life changing experience. It made me appreciate life even more.
